Bones (8pm, Fox) - Brennan and Booth go undercover at a couples retreat while investigating the death of a management consultant.
How I Met Your Mother (8pm, CBS) - The ninth and final season gets underway with two new back-to-back episodes tonight. We're still back at Barney and Robin's wedding weekend, where Lily confronts Ted over his feelings for Robin. In the second episode, Barney has to handle some bad news about his brother and Marshall scrambles to find transportation from the city to the wedding. We should get some face time with "the mother" tonight too.
Sleepy Hollow (9pm, Fox) - A scary vision from Ichabod's former wife sends him and Abbie on a hunt for an 18th-century witch who is out for revenge in the town.
Genealogy Roadshow (9pm, UNC-TV) - A genealogy research show presented in touring "Antiques Roadshow" style. Here's my review of "Genealogy Roadshowhref>."
2 Broke Girls (9pm, CBS) - Season 3 starts with business booming at the new cupcake walk-up window -- especially after word spreads about a shocking incident involving a rock star.
Mom (9:30pm, CBS) - Newly sober single mom is challenged when her estranged, overly critical mother, who is also a recovering addict, returns to her life. Here's my review of "Momhref>."
The Blacklist (10pm, NBC) - So far, my favorite new show of the new season (Adrienne is with me on this one -- here's her review of "The Blacklisthref>). It's about a most-wanted fugitive (James Spader, at his most James Spadery) who works with a rookie FBI profiler to take down the most evil of evildoers.
Hostages (10pm, CBS) - A new series in which a rogue FBI agent takes a D.C. surgeon and her family hostage, demanding that the surgeon kill the president during an upcoming surgery or they will kill her family. Can that plot sustain an entire season? Here's my review of "The Hostageshref>."
Castle (10pm, ABC) - In the sixth season opener, Castle and Beckett deal with the fallout from their personal choices as a high-stakes investigation unfolds.
